Child Study Team and Special Programming
Chapel School has a process to support students who are having difficulty in learning. When a child is identified as potentially having learning difficulties, a child study team is created. This team is comprised of the child’s parents, classroom teacher, specialist teachers, learning resources teacher and administration.
The team works to collect all the information needed to make the best decision possible for individual learners. If the team determines a student needs additional help, the Chapel School Learning Resource Center staff is available to support the student. Staff may pull the student out for support or push into the classroom and teach collaboratively with the classroom teacher.
